- Namie's two newest music videos for her upcoming single. I also watched most of her 2011 tour video yesterday. <3333 forever.

Go Round:

- Big Bang's adorable 'Ain't No Fun' performance from M-net this week.

- Big Bang behind the scenes for , in which they record the voices for their characters in a video game. It's adorable watching them crack up as they try to say things like "Fire in the hole!" and "I've spotted the enemy!" with a straight face. Loving the in-game inter-member dialogues. (Esp Seungri: "You should have shot G-dragon instead!")

- The Meltykiss chocolates's A brought me from Japan. (I have chocolate, milk, strawberry and green tea flavors)

- Peepsters, which are chocolates filled with marshmallow flavored cream, or at least that's what it says on the bag. They taste really weird, but they're somehow addictive.

- Lately I've been really into making stews. Tonight I'm making French Onion Soup, because I thought it was perfect for a cold, rainy day.

- Numi's Vanilla Black tea.

- The two awesome books I got from the university library on the Belle Epoque. I loved one of them so much that I ended up buying a used copy to own!

- Cotillion, by Georgette Heyer, which I am re-reading for the 10th time or so.

Girls Generation, my favorite (current) Korean girl's group has finally come to Japan! They're called 'Shojo Jidai' there, which is the Japanese reading of the kanji they use. I know some people are weirded out by that, but honestly, that's how I automatically read those kanji anyway, so it doesn't bother me. LOL

Judging from the 22,000 people who came to their first concert this week, I think they're going to do really well in Japan. The cool thing about it was that the audience was 80% female. Already, people realize that they're on the level with artists like Namie, rather than idols like AKB or Morning Musume.

Sooyoung can speak Japanese pretty fluently too, so they've already got a leg up on their fellow Korean girl groups like KARA who've recently debuted in Japan.

New clips showing part of the girl's first showcase.

Here's they're Japanese debut song, Genie. It's not bad. The Japanese doesn't fit very well, and well, as far as pronunciation goes, this is their first song ever, so I'm sure they'll only get better.

Now I will post my favorite songs, because <3 <3 <3.

Some of the songs not only have English subs, but tell you whose singer, which, with a 9 member group is very helpful. (My fav member is Jessica <3)

Here, have Patrick
singing many random songs in his pre-show ritual. Older. but always wonderful.

The other day I saw the first commercial for 'Man Band', that reality show with Chris trying to become a band with other former boyband members. Yay, Chris!

While perusing Youtube with Andith,a few days ago, I watched some of the newest HIM video. I haven't watched the whole thing yet, but so far I like what I see... Ville is looked so beautiful again, back to his long hair and no beard.

Joel and Nicole are officially pregnant, as they announce in
this interview here. . I'd actually never heard Nicole talk before, she sounded a lot more intelligent than I thought. If I hadn't known anything about her, she probably would have made a good impression. Joel talks a little about not being an enabler, and deciding to stick with Nicole thru the arrest etc, about how he had the perfect excuse to be like 'See ya!' but decided to take a bet on her, because she's a wonderful woman. Apparently he convinced Nicole to change her plea to guilty after they watched a program on drunk driving, where they had their 'first parent moment'. They talked about calling Lionel and telling him, etc and they seemed happy together. Nicole seemed more mature than I'd have expected, so hopefully she means what she says, about having another person she's responsible for and wanting to be a mother her child will respect and look up to. And somehow, I trust Joel with this. I think he's been through so much drug related stuff himself, and has such a good idea of what kind of a father not to be, as well as such a strong mother figure to hold Nicole to, I think they may surprise everyone. I hope so.

Apparently CNN International did this series on top performers in Asia, which featured a 30 minute interview with Ayu. In the interview, she answers a few questions in English! I was really surprised by her English - gramatically it could be better (although she does say 'like') but she has a very good accent! Sometimes I just love Ayu. Sometimes, nothing else will satisfy.

In other news, we were supposed to have a Xmas party which fell through since no one could come for various reasons, but Cy and I baked cookies and rented some Christmas movies, so it is still festive. I love the holidays! And this time next week, I will be home for Christmas!!

For some reason the holidays put me in a Harry/Draco mood, so last week during work I re-read 'Transfigurations'. I forgot how good that fic is.
