2nd Day of work highlights

Yesterday was my 2nd day of work. I felt very official in my all-black and my new comfy shoes. I met two new people today (both of whom will be leaving on Sunday though). The first was a girl my age named Yoko, who is Japanese-American, and is going to JET. She kind of reminded me a of Mocchi abit in looks. I think it was her glasses and her eyes. the second was the head (?) waiter, Chen, who's been there 12 years. He's a riot. He's really nice, and he showed me the ropes and had me follow him the whole time, and he is the most flaboyent, gayest Taiwanese man ever. He's really nice. He also teaches Chinese to kids. And takes Latin Dance, Tap, and something else I forget on weekdays. Both of them were nice, and I'm disappointed they won't be working anymore wwhile I'm there, because they were younger and genki. I ate dinner in the back at about 9 PM with people, the cooks had made grilled tako and ika and green peppers (which was really good) and some kind of red chinese (really authentic) pork dish, both of which we ate over rice. I waited on two tables, one with Chen next to me, and one all by myself. I felt like my niece Katie, when she leanred to tie her shows...'And then I did it, all by myself. I did it all by myself.' Chen was so supportive and kept giving me huge smiles and thumbs up and saying 'Great! You're doing great!' The kitchen staff are dour and never smile or talk and scare me though. It was very long (I worked six hours), and my feet hurt by the end, and time goes pretty slowly sometimes, but it was still fun. I was so tired when I got home though. At the end we had to fold all the napkins... ^^;; Tonight people are going out to a Chinese restuarant for Chen and Yoko's goodbye party, and they invited me, but I'm not sure whether I'll go yet, because it will probably be late, as we don't get out of work until 11 PM, and I'm not sure how I would get home. Plus I might be really tired.

The only thing is, I wish Craco and Rom would finalize a date for April's Fools, cuz it turns out I'm supposed to work Mon and Tues, and Craco said he was planning it for one of those days. Maybe I can just work it out to leave a little early, but I need to know which day, so I can tell people.
