oritsu_luvOn a whim, I watched bits of Dream Planet's concert from 2004. I still don't think it's as good as the show they did as B.B WAVES for Human Energy, but still. The talent and the joy they had continues to amazing me. If you need another reminder of how much people shine when they're doing what they love, there it is. It's a truly amazing thing.
The last song they did was 'UNITED' which...this song, written by Anna-san way back when, was also the song that we sung for our last song at the first LoveJunx show. I practiced it over and over, put everything I had into it. I have a distinct memory of being home for the summer, walking through my yard and singing that song at the top of my lungs, thinking about the coming show.
The excitement and the joy of working towards something, with a group of people, of pushing yourself for something you love.
That's what I had in that moment, and that's what I want to have again.
That's what I'm missing.
