oritsu_luvYes, I got a little teared up listening to Adam's version of 'One' this morning.
I just can't believe he lost. I just can't believe it. (Heck, even Kris couldn't believe Kris won.) I mean, I like Kris, and he seems like a really sweet guy, but Adam is so clearly the better singer, the better performer. Adam is a performer, the likes of which you rarely ever see, a true megastar. The last place you'd expect to find a talent like his was on a American Idol. Maybe that's why he lost. As people have said, if he won, it would have broken American Idol.
And I know he'll be huge, he'll have an incredible career anyway, but...I really would have liked him to win, you know?
*sigh*
As my Mom said last night, "At least we got Obama." LOL
I'm just feeling generally depressed today. Because of Adam, and because my infection seems to be I don't understand, it was doing so well, the antibiotic was really drying it up, and the swelling and redness was really going down...and then I noticed I had one of those cysts on it and now suddenly I'm back where I started, puffy, weeping and red. Not to mention sore. I just don't get it. It was doing so well. And I've only got two more days of the antibiotic...
