Troy

We just saw Troy. It was pretty inaccurate, as far as the Illiad goes, but since I haven't read the Illiad is several years, I was still able to enjoy it.
So here's my rundown of the movie:

The Good:

-Achilles' beautiful sunstreaked golden blond hair. I totally fangirled his hair the whole movie.

-Paris' mega eyeliner.

-Also his wibbly facial expressions, and his complete 'Bitch, please' expression before the fight with Menelaus

-The opening scene with Achilles' 3P.

-Hector rocksors.

-They kept the Gay. Including cousincest and many other 'cests.

The Bad:

-CANON RAPE!!!!!! Esp. the ending.


EDT: While skimming an LJ, I found a Helen/Aphrodite drabble. It made me very happy. I missed the gods!

Atsushi has finally returned from Okinawa! Yuuta announced his return with a very excited and slashy message about how they'd stayed up all night talking and how he couldn't want to see Atsushi dance and to Battle with him.
Apparently Yuuta is going to be in a movie!! I should ask for more info on the BBS. He keeps mentioning filming, and I-chan mentioned how she saw an ad for it.

Spent a lot of the day with Sara getting caught up of PGSM. So much femmeslashiness! Not only my OTP, Minako/Rei, but a lot of Mako/Ami, which gave me a disturbing bunny about S&Mish Jupiter and Darkury. And then of course there's some more hints of Minako/Usagi continued from earlier episodes, exerbated by Mio's whole 'I wanted to make Usagi mine. I love you, Usagi-chan!' thing. Hee hee
Also, Mamo-chan and Usagi are soooo adorable!

Also watched the special ABC edition of Sorcerer's Store with Mels and Ashy. My god they were all so tiny!! (or, as Luna taught me, 'titchy'!)
