Random Thoughts of the day
- Why don't they make gardenia flavored anything? I swear I read that people somewhere used to make some kind of gardenia flavored drink or confectionary...
- Asia Argento is f--king hot. She's kind of like an Italian!Angelina Jolie. I would die to see a movie with Angelina/Asia.
- Further Angelina thoughts: I was reading about the whole Jen/Brad separation thing at the hairdresser the other day, and they were all talking about how Brad seems smitten with Angelina, and how hot their chemistry was on set. (I have *got* to see 'Mr and Mrs. Smith'!) But I was like...yeah, but Angie would have mind blowing chemistry with a tree, for god's sake!
- 'Stage Beauty' came out on DVD in England last month. It doesn't come out here until March 8th. If only Europe didn't use region 2. (I really need to find a cheap region 2 player...)
- Regardless of what a f'ed up movie it was, I think that Isabelle Adjani, who played the title role in 'Queen Margot' is one of the most beautiful women in the world.
- They have just come out with Mulan 2. I am strangely intrigued. Also, Mulan reminds me of Mochi, for some strange reason.
If I wasn't on dial-up, I would upload pic spam, to support these thoughts. Stupid dial-up.
Also, I have been watching Shimotsuma Monogatari with Mom, bit by bit. It's actually good practice, because I need to do simulataneous translation. It also spawned this amusing tidbit.
Mom *watching Momoko's frilly gothic lolita dresses and huge bows*: No one really dresses like that right?
Me: Oh, yeah, definatly.
