Weekend roundup
Sep. 19th, 2006 02:03 pmSaturday: Helped Joely out with a carwash to raise money for Katrina victims at her work. We made over $600, because her company was giving $3 for every $1, so it was really great, and well worth the sunburn and sore leg muscles. ;)
Saturday Night: Went to a dinner party with Andy, Angelique and my bethrothed, Todd. (At least, he would be if my mother had any say in it. Luckily there hasn't been an arranged marriage in my family since my great-grandparent's. Which actually, is not too long ago, considering) Much good food and wine was had, so there was much laughter by all. (Although I had dessert wine and port)
Sunday: Went with Joely's family to the Internation Peace Festival in NY, where we felt the peaceful vibes and gained a new OTP: Peace!boy/World!Boy.
