The thing I love most about my bed is the fact that it's pushed up against a window, so the first thing I do when I wake up is look outside and see the sky and the trees. I would say I love how the morning light floods , but I usually have my covers pulled up over my head. LOL

Today I have to go to the dentist, since I figured it'd be a good thing to do before the move. One of my wisdom teeth has been hurting for the past 2 days or so. Sometimes they act up like that. Hopefully the dentist can tell me why, or fix it somehow that doesn't include removing them, because I don't have the time right now. Usually they just stop hurting on their own after a few days. Meh.

The only problem with being able to drive, is that then people make you run errands for them. So I have just wasted 45 minutes of my life driving all around because there is construction going on everywhere today (there were literally 3 construction sites within 10 feet of eachother)so the road I needed to go on was blocked off and I don't know another route, so I just had to turn around and come back home. Meh.

Although, I did have 2 epiphanies about some of the new MEST songs while driving, so I guess it wasn't a complete waste. Haha.

I guess I will write them down.

1) 'Graveyard' vs 'Nightmare'. My first impression of these two songs was that basically there were way too similar, basically a Tony version and a Jere version of the same kind of song. And I still think that. However, they are more interesting if you think of it as a kind of psychological profile, because when you listen to the lyrics, Tony's and Jere's nightmares are very different. Jere's nightmare is all about graveyards, and zombies and the world ending. Tony's nightmare is more psychological, about being surrounded by 'enemies', a fight he can't win, no one he can trust, basically being used (I've got my heart tied up/Just like they wanted), and about a 'love confessed' and denied, and the need to break out of that.

2) 'Can't Take This'. This is one of two songs about needing inspiration, being burnt out, but it's also about no one understanding Tony, or believing in him, about Tony still trying to make something of himself. Personally, I interpreted the first verse, which begins with 'I want this/She hates this' to be about the Warped Tour, and Tony as a singer, wanting to keep going on the tour because it was his dream, even though he's injured his back, and people not understanding that, and then overall, just about what happens when it finally catches up with him and he's just lying in a bed, stuck with his own thoughts and not much else.
