Two Words: Hyde. Front Row.

Christian ended up going to the show with me, which was a lot of fun. (Also, he was really nice and drove me home after). We hung out with his friends Billy and Val, and another guy who’s name I forget, while we waited in line (from about 6-ish to 8 when the doors opened). It was fun; mostly Val and I fangirled Hyde the whole time, to the mystification of the guys.

It gave us a lot of time to plan our strategy, which was to go over to the side of the stage since everyone always tries to get center stage, and it was the perfect plan: We were in the front row there!

It was neat because for awhile the Slim’s show was the only one, so there were people from all over: a bunch of fans from Japan, a group of Canadians, and the girls next to us were from Mexico.

Warped Tour!!

On Saturday was I went with Cy and Stef to my 4th Warped Tour (in three years) and it was the first one I've been to a) in a city b)where we basically just walked in, no waiting in a standstill line and c) that wasn't a huge schlep to get to. It was on the pier in the city, which was neat because you could see and smell the ocean - and there was a bit of a breeze, although this didn't stop it from being very very very hot.

This year we had no backstage passes, but as you'll see, it turned out to be just as much as a sucess, in terms of meeting band members.
