Bright and early tomorrow morning, I will be heading of the East Coast for two weeks. It should be interesting, what with my visit coinciding with visiting cousins both at my Dad's and my Mom's.
On my Mom's side, my German cousin Judith and her boyfriend Andy are going to be staying with us. The last time I saw Judith (that's pronounced like 'Yudit' btw)she was 11. She is now 17. Crazy.
All I know about Andy is he plays the guitar. I feel kind of bad for them because I don't know if they realize just how in the middle of nowhere my house is. I mean, yeah, it's 'close to NY', but that still means over an hour by train. If I am needed to drive them to the train station, hopefully I will not kill us all, as I haven't driven in almost two years. Anyway, it should be a ton of fun, assuming Judith is as nice as she was both other times I saw her, when she was 5 and 11 respectively.
On my Dad's, my 9 yr old cousin Katie is coming up. It's a big deal, because it will be her first ever vist alone to Boston. As usually Dad is very territorial about spending time with me. He wants me to stay through the second weekend because he's 'working all week', which I haven't talk to mom about yet, because guess what? So is she. This is the thing I hate most about being a divorced kid. It always sucks when your parents fight over you and try to make you chose sides. Boo.
But we're going to the North End on Sunday, which should be awesome. I haven't been in forever.
So, I don't know yet when I'll be in CT, but when I am, I will call people when I get there.
Mirai-chan, are you home? Megucchi, we have a date for King's Man right?
