Nov. 7th, 2008 10:59 amI was attempting to go to the library and things, but my headphones started dying, so I came back to charge them for while, because god forbid I have to walk 20 minutes one way into town without music, right? ^^; My priorities, let me show you them.
I am currently waiting on three job possibilities. One I will find out about soon because the company wants someone who can start Monday. So we'll see.
I am really in the mood to read fic, something nicely wordy and atmospheric, maybe even a little highbrow, like my old favorite'Trade'by hackthis, the H/D AU where Draco runs an elite escort service, absolutely dripping with British-ness. I don't know, something about Fall makes me want to read H/D.
The only thing is the long hours of sitting in the crappy fold-out chair I'm using as my computer chair have finally caught up with me, because my knees feel f'ed up like whoa. I really need a proper chair, this one is proving really bad for my physical well-being...
Lately I have been devouring this YA series called 'Rainbow Boys'by Alex Sanchez about these three gay teens. Each boy tells a different chapter (like the BSC books, haha)and it's very real. Tame after fic, but really real.
I was listening to Panic's cover of 'Karma Police' today and thinking about how much of a thing I have for back-up vocalists. I mean, my favorite part of the song is when Ryan comes in with the 'For a minute there, I lost myself....'. And I've always loved Simple Plan's live stuff because of all the singing (harmonizing and solos) that David does. (Ditto for all the Ryan on Panic's live DVD). I just love it when the back up vocalists get to sing more.
Hmm. I'm getting kind of hungry. I think I will head out after I eat.
