Random stuff of Today
Jan. 31st, 2009 09:28 amWe got new mugs at work. I love them, they're bigger for one thing, and nice and rounded and smooth and they feel so nice to hold. They make my tea taste nice and smooth too.
I am still getting sick. I was very miserable when I woke up this morning. My whole throat/jaw/head region was killing me. So I took some Ibuprofen and went to work.
By the time I got here, I felt a little better. So far it's just the mornings and evening/nights that are the worst, as with most things. But I bought some sore throat spray, so hopefully that should help.
Today they were giving out certificates for a free cup of Tully's coffee, valid 'till March, which was very nice. I will definitely be using mine.
San gave me a new link to download Shun-kun's radio, so today on my way to work I listened to Shun and Nari-kun (aka Narimiya Hideki who played Nobu in the Nana movies)talk about what to when you blank out during a play, how Nari-kun thinks one of their co-stars is 'dangerously sexy', what one e-mail about the writer's friend's lunch being 'always brown' meant, and most amusingly, fancy men's 'panties' that cost $80. (Nari-kun said that they feel so much better that once you buy them you can never go back to wearing cheap ones, but Shun-kun said he wouldn't feel right wearing underwear that cost that much money.) (BTW, according to Nori, Nari-kun is gay and was discovered in a gay bar. Of course, I would take Nori's gossip with a grain of salt. But I like to think it's true.)
EDT: Winners for hottest people to pass through reception today: = hot Japanese guy with red streaked fauxhawk with his associate, French guy with hot French accent. XD
