Running to and fro
Mar. 13th, 2009 10:49 amToday has been, and will continue to be composed of a lot of running around doing errands. And a lot of walking from place to place. At least it will be good exercise?
So far:
* Dragged myself out of bed - I've been having such a hard time waking up ever since the time change - and rushed to make the train so I could go to Walgreen's before work and get a screw driver so we can put together the futon we got from Ikea last night.
And soon:
* Go to the post office during lunch to mail my tax stuff. I don't know if I'll have time to actually eat lunch afterwards. I hope it doesn't take too long.
Later on:
* Stop by Cy's work to drop off her wallet because what with all the drama of realizing we had no screw driver last night, after we'd already dismantled the old futon, neither of us remembered to make sure her wallet got taken out of my purse, and she's going out to a dinner for work tonight so she really needs it.
* Go to the video store to return a DVD, and hopefully get something to eat nearby.
The only good thing is that I have my new Namie concert DVD to watch when I get home.
(This doesn't even take into account actually puttimg the futon together. I'm not sure when we're doing that. Saturday? Sunday? At least we have two super comfy chairs to sit in, so it's not life or death.
EDT: Going to the Post Office ended up taking only about 5 minutes, and forced me to walk into North Beach,so I got a yummy sandwich at this Deli staffed and frequented by rough hewn men who I swear were New Yorkers.
I think I will try to be positive about all my errands now. XD
