Numberology
May. 23rd, 2009 04:11 pmLast night as I was falling asleep, I figured out something I've been puzzling on for years: a way to put my name into numbers. I was thinking about it specifically, as it relates to Miyavi, who is fond of using his own number-name (he has it tattooed on his knuckles, in fact): 382. (3=Mi, 8=ya, and 2=well, ni, but somehow 'vi' in this case?)
The first time I came across this was on the MAX calender for uh, 2000, I believe, when the members had their own names in numbers, reading 5 as 'ko' instead of 'go' and 2 as 'tsu'.
That would be as following:
017 Reina
375 Minako
625 Lina (Ritsuko)
775 (Nanako)
So I finally figured out mine. It's kind of roundabout, but still.
8,106円
hahahaha
Yes that's reading 8 as 'ei' from 'eight' and yes, that is '10' and I'm reading it 'do' not 'to' but still. Hahaha.
And yes. That is the yen sign for 'en'.
Although I guess I could also do just 8106, like Ka used to call me.
