Thanks so much to everyone who left me a birthday message by text, phone or LJ!!

I had a really nice day yesterday. Cy was able to get the day off too, which was really great. In the morning, after I opened the presents my parents had sent, we walked over to this restaurant called Vault and had a nice breakfast, served to us by a lovely waiter, quite Greek. (In the Oscar Wilde sense, not the my big fat wedding sense) Then we went for a little walk and I went to the art store and bought some pastels (36 colors for $4.50!! :O) and some left-handed calligraphy stuff. Then we had tea at Krixa and I finally got my birthday cake. (I've been trying to get a birthday cake there for like 2 years.) It was an absolutely gorgeous day, bright and sunny, so we read in the park for a few hours. It was so warm that I was able to wear a summer dress! On my birthday! Then we watched some movies I'd picked out, although I felt one was sorely misrepresented by the box. LOL Then we went to the provencal restaurant I've been dying to go to for ages. It was really lovely and made me long for France. Then we went home and I had a piece of my cake. It was delicious.

It's just occurred to me that that is how all journal entries should end. 'Then I had piece of my cake. It was delicious.'

XD

Michiru-san and hopefully Slumdog Millionaire tonight, cake, birthday dresses and parties tomorrow.

ETA: Last night I dreamt about Kame. In my dream, Kame - who had short hair and black emo glasses, but thank god not that awful perm - and I sat and discussed acting and inspirations and people we looked up to. Dream!Kame was very nice and polite and passionate about acting. But really...what is up subconscious? Kamenashi Kazuya, and all you give me in intense discussion??
