Things I love
Aug. 19th, 2012 08:12 amThe summer K-Pop and J-pop releases. There's so much great music that's been released in the past month or two! Infinite's new album, Teen Top's, Kat-tun's single, Maki's single, Kuu's single which gets special mention for being flawless all around, especially the ko-so ko-so video. XD
BigBang's North Face CM:
Yes, there's a song in it, but there is also a GTOP hug! And walking arm in arm! Be still my heart! (Also, happy 23rd birthday to G-Dragon!)
In TV shows: Dalton Abbey, which San introduced me to, and Ouran High Host Club, which is hilarious and fun.
The rose jelly I bought at the Turkish Store. It's actually Greek (the jelly) and it's really thick, really rosy and really sweet. I've been having it in my yogurt in the mornings, and it's delicious!
The peach pie I made the other day. Who knew it was so easy to make pie crust if you only have a Cuisinart!?
The Sept Issue of Vivi. It's been a while since I've read it with my old enthusiasm, but this month was fabulous! So many stylish and interesting clothes! It really got me excited about what's coming up in fashion this Fall!
They're making a movie of Nazotoki wa Dinner no ato de (Save the sleuthing for after dinner). I bought this book last summer when M and I went to Kinokuniya in NY, and I really liked it, so I'm excited about this! Keiko Kitagawa is perfect for the role of the elegant, sarcastic ojousama sleuth!
Speaking of books made into movies, I saw the Help yesterday, after finishing the book last week. (I know, I'm probably the last person in the country to have read it...) I thought it was really well done. There were some changes I didn't really like, but all in all it held up against a super recent reading of the book, which is not something you can say about many movies based on books!
