Welcome back, T!

T, the head of coorperate support at work, has been out of the office for about two months with a flu-related lung infection which resulted in surgery.
Today is her first day back. The floor she works on in a sea of balloons and one of the HR woman made cupcakes in her honor.
I'm so glad she's feeling well enough to come back. T is the first person that really made me feel at home when I started working here, almost like a mother. She's got this great energy, and she's one of the sweetest most generous people I know, always wanting to help out. Case in point, she called to talk to one of the CS guys last week, and told me she was coming back this week, and after she answered my question about how she was feeling, she said, 'So do you need anything?' She's coming back to work for the first time in months, after major surgery, and she asks me if I need anything. Talk about the definition of selflessness.
Even today, after I went and gave her a hug and got all the news on how she's feeling, she asked if I was going to be working with them, and started giving me advice on letting HR know I was interested if any positions come up.
Anyway, she's a really wonderful woman, and the office wasn't the same without her. I'm so glad she's back.
