Tatta Hitotsu No Koi Ep 5,6, and 7

I really hope Ayuta doesn't fall for Nao. >:(

I knew that guy was going to try to kidnap Nao, I just knew it. Blarg. Good for Nao for actually fighting back the whole time. The girl's got spirit, that's for sure.

I love Hiroto so much. He's such a good guy! I'm glad he told her about his dad's suicide, I hoped he was. And the way he was all gung ho to meet her parents because he's trying hard, even though he admits it's not what he really wants to do! How he tried so hard to find nice clothes...but kind of looked like he always does, because as he says, he doesn't have many clothes.

I like Nao's dad too, he's just worried about his daughter. But he's also respecting how she feels. Which is more than I can for her brother! He's being an asshole. I mean, he saw Hiroto covering Nao while those guys kicked the shit out of him, and then he just says "This isn't a place for people like you. Get out." He never liked Hiroto from the start, and now he's going on an on about how 'Like calls to like', and he may not be friends with 'those kind of people' but his world is populated with them. Although I do agree with his point when he tells Nao, "When they heard their aquaintance had a rich girlfriend, most people wouldn't then go and try to kidnap her!" Those are seriously messed up (and desperate) measures. But on the other hand, I do see that he's also just worried about his little sister (and has some serious class issues, but then so did Nao before she met Hiroto.)

Oh man, those last two scenes, where her brother is all like "You aren't to see him again, do you understand?" and she stays in the elevator and pushing the down button, saying "I'm sorry." As the doors close!! And then Nao running out and finding Hiroto on the other side of that street, yelling "I won't give up on you, no matter what!" And then the ending music swells as Hiroto's narration says, "At the moment, I felt as though I could love you for the rest of my life." That's why I love this dorama!

The only thing is...this series makes me really nervous, because I just KNOW it's not going to end well. I mean, they told us in the opening narration...

Oh SHIT...Hiroto's totally going to go after Yamashita for trying to kidnap Nao. :O

Aww, I'm glad Yuko seems to be coming to her senses. (I think her actress is way cuter than Nao's. But I think that she works better with Kame than Yuko's would, since 20 yr old Kame is just so delicate, it'd be too cutesy with a delicate, cute girl like Yuko's actress.)

Hiroto's little brother is sooo adorable!

Ahh the scene on the boat is love! How she buries her face in his chest, and makes him say he loves her. And he does!! Low and sexily, too. (God, Kame is so sexy. They have good chemistry.)

"I will more comfortable here than anywhere in the world. More calm." That seems to be a theme.

Aww...such a good mood going on, and she gave him the okay! But he has a plan! He wants their first time to be somewhere nice. She says she's looking forward to it. "Should nice little rich girls say things like that?" <3 <3

But oh man, plans for the future! His future is so different from hers! I mean, she can basically do anything while his is pretty much already decided for him. He's locked into years old debt, etc... They really do live in two different worlds, just like when he wanted to know what college was like, and she said, "It's you know, ordinary.", and he was like "It's such a huge deal for me..." Awwww

But he has dreams! He wants to get the factory back on track, turn it into somewhere good, and live happily with many children! And he asks her if she wants to take part in his future! Which is basically a proposal! But she doesn't answer! She can't! His future is too different from hers and she knows it. The saddest part is how much he expected just the reaction she gave.

Ahh dammit Ko found Yamashita. I'm so worried about this!!

But how adorable are Yuko and Nao, chatting with their cell phones during class. They both feel bad about their fight!

I wish either Hiroto or Nao would tell their friends about the thing with Yamashita though...
Oh wait...he told Ayuta, and Ayuta wouldn't look for Yamashita for him because he knew Hiroto was planing something risky. yay for the two of them running to his aid, and Yuko watching in the rain. (Aww, Yuko! Ko really is in a hurry! He has to go save Hiroto!)

I KNEW Yamashita would have knife! But wow, how cool is Hiroto?? He didn't even flinch. And then he grabbed the knife by the blade! Such a badass!
That's right Yamashita's scared when Hiroto says "If you touch Nao again, I'll kill you." You don't fuck with the dude who's got blood dripping down his hand because he's grabbing your knife by the blade. "If you do that, your life will be over." Yamashita says, and Hiroto says, "I don't care! I don't care about that! If you touch Nao again, I will kill you." So. Badass.

Ahh, I forgot like like 5 minutes that we also just found out Nao can most likely not have kids because of her illness! THAT's why she didn't respond to Hiroto's kid filled future plane right away!! But she doens't have the confidence to tell him! Honey, he's currently slumped in the rain with a hand that most likely should get stiches, over you. He won't care! You can always adopt!!

Oh good, Ayuta and Ko found him. And I guess made him get stitches? Since it's bandaged. (Phew.) But why doesn't he want her to come visit him? At least he asked if her parents are okay with it...but Nao!! Your brother is totally not okay with it!!! He's all "You're not seeing that Hiroto guy anymore, right!?" But why are you leading your brother on in that way??

Ahhh this show worries me so much.

Oooh, first Ayuta comes to bring him melon and ask if it's not too difficult dating Nao, then Nao's brother shows up to say "You're just after her money, aren't you?" and "I want you to break up with her." But props to Hiroto for not getting mad. Because he wants her brother to approve of him! (But yeah, now you know, Nao totally lied about her dad and brother being okay with it. But I wish the brother would shut up with his whole 'Then don't meet in secret or tell lies!' The only one lying about seeing each other is your sister, dude!)

Ooh, I LOVE the narration of this show: "Nao, for some reason I can't forget how sweet that melon was. The melon Ayuta bought for $7 from a stand in front of the train station was so delicious, and so sweet, it made me want to cry even more."

Whoa!! Hiroto came to the dad's office!! Wow, he has balls. He's so well mannered! He has that kind of humility you need to bow low to everyone and ask for work and money. But it plays into his respect too. So Japanese.

Ooh, he just told Hiroto how she can't have kids. Hiroto said "Huh?" Yep, you should have told her yourself. His face, oh his shocked face. Now he knows why she reacted the way she did to his wanting to have 'lots of kids'.
And it hasn't even been 5 years since her surgury, so she could have a relapse... Wow, Dad doesn't pull any punches. "My daughter might die." (Oh man she better not. This show had better not end with her dying...)

"It's too much for you, you're only 20."

"I'm only 20, as you say, but...But I want to protect her."

"Why are you laughing, sir?"

"Protecting someone...it's not as easy as it sounds. You have nothing. Not money, social status or life experience. Can you still protect my daughter? What do you have?"

"I'm in love with her."

"There's a limit to what love can do."

(AHHH THAT BETTER NOT BE THE THEME OF THIS SERIES.)Ooh, the dad pulled age card, saying that their love isn't real love, and it's just youthful passion.

OOOH! SERIES NAME CHECK!! "It may just be love. But it's this is my one and old love."

He'd give his life to save her! Let's just reiterate that, in case we didn't get that when he threatened Yamashita last episode. (HE BETTER NOT DO THAT. THAT HAD BETTER NOT BE THE THEME EITHER.)

(Unrelatedly, God damn Kame is beautiful.)

Hmm Dad knows how he feels, but that doesn't mean he's given his blessing.

Oh shit! Nameko-san the cop from SWEET DEVILTanada stole their money from the factory! :O
OH SHIT, he emptied their bank accounts too. $20,000... Wait, why are they not telling the cops?? Because he's been in the company since Hiroto's dad ran it?? Whoa...who owes $150,000??
Oh shit...Hiroto's mother?? And now they're threatening Ren-kun??? Oh hell no!

HE's totally not going to tell Nao about the money being stolen, is he?? Oh, but Ayuta did! Good boy, Ayuta!!

Yay, they found a compnay to lend them $3,000!! Oh, I bet Nao's gonna try to give him money...

Never mind, I take back what I said Ayuta, you better not try to steal your best friend's girl!>:O Oh but wait, you're trying to get Yuko and Ko back together!! Okay, maybe you're redeemed again...

See!! I told you he would tell you it doesn't matter to him that you probably can't have kids!! She's the only one for him!!

Aww, he even researched the chances of her dying! (Which are really low. I will remember that, SHOW!)

Awww....he's holding her in his arms wrapped in a blanket and they have this conversation!!!
Her: So does this mean...we're getting married?
Him: I can't imagine ever being with anyone but you. What about you?
Her: The thought of being with you forever makes me really happy.


Ahhh but then she says this! "This is so much fun. It's so much fun, it scares me. Don't you get the feeling that it's all going to disappear one day?" NO! DON'T GET THAT FEELINGS!! :O


Oh goddamn it, is his mother going to her parent's jewelry store?? >:O Nooo!
Ahh and the doctor wants to keep Nao in the hospital cuz her cold isn't getting better!!! :O
OH MY GOD HIS MOM HAS CREEPY STALKER PHOTOS OF HIROTO AND NAO!!!! WTF???? AND SHE'S BLACKMAILING THE DAD WITH THEM???? Way to support your son's love life!! >:O WTF?? (Also the photos are kind of hot! Which is totally not the point!)

Nao is bringing rose aromatherapy oil to the hospital! (I so want her and Hiroto to do it in the hospital now. Wait, what???)


Oh no! NOw her dad is talking to her brother about Hiroto horrific mother, who is using her son's relationship for money?? Like he didn't already hate Hiroto to begin with! Oh SHIT and the brother is telling the dad about how Nao almost got kidnapped by "Hiroto's friends or classmates or something" THEY WEREN'T HIS FRIENDS!! Oh, dad is (understandably) pissed. Now he's never going to let Nao keep seeing Hiroto. :(

Baaah the housekeeper just told him she's in the hospital and hung up on him. Now he'll be all worried! >:O

Oooh they're each making eahc other Christmas presents, it's so adorable....


Aww...her mom sides with her dad because she needs to protect Nao, because that's what mother's do. But her dad waited a while, because of how Hiroto said he would give his life to protect Nao. ;_; Whoooa, the mom is worried about a possible scandal involving Nao because when she married Nao's dad, she thought "I'm marrying Star Jewelry. I can't do anything to tarnish this store." (Also, very Japanese.) Oh crap, Mom fights dirty. "But Mom, I love Hiroto with all my-" "Don't betray your brother. Don't betray your brother: he gave you his bone marrow. He risked his life to save you." At least Nao just called her on the guilt tripping.

(Meanwhile Hiroto and Ren are talkign about how Nao will be there on Christmas Eve and finishing the adorable paper machee whale. ;_;)

Oh whoa: Nao asked her mom to get her the cafe au lait she always drinks from the convenience store. Her mom totally knows somethings up, she said twice, "You'll drink it tomorrow morning, right?"

Nao's totally going to run away or something. And her mom so knows it...

Called it. She's not in her room when the nurse comes ot check on her. She called Hiroto form a pay phone...I forgot we just learned her brother canceled her cell phone so she couldn't call him this whole time. I think she told him to go the park they met in the first or second episode?

She wants them to stay in a hotel somewhere, since she escaped the hospital. And he grabs her tight to him and says, "Can I just hold you like this for a minute?" (Awwww. He wants to reassure himself that she's in his arms now because she wasn't picking up her cell phone, he couldn't get her at her house, who just said she was in the hospital, and he didn't know what to do!)

Ooh, but I don't know if she should have just said, "Nothing happened. I'm fine." (When has lying helped you at all???)

And mom's telling the nurse Nao will be back tomorrow morning, that she just had something important to do. Is she trying to convince herself??
