Happy Belated Valentine's Day!

I made a three dish Indian meal, and Joely made naan. All was v. delicious! And then we ate chocolate and watched the unrated version of 'Original Sin'. Oh I love that movie. Although I noticed that at times Antonio sort of looked like my dad, which disturbed me beyond words.
Today I am going to make the chocolate cake I was going to make yesterday but didn't have time for. I also sort of want to make scones, only I don't actually have the stuff to make them, and don't really feel like going to the grocery store again.
Maybe I will go see 'The New World.' I also should find a walk in clinic to go to, since my throat still hurts on and off, and I'm still coughing sometimes. I assume it's just because I have to talk all day every day for my job so it's not had time to heal properly. But still.
Also, MAX's new album - their first new album in five years - comes out in exactly a week! I am so excited I actually woke up thinking about it the other night.
EDT: Saw 'New World'. It was a very interestingly done movie - very spare dialogue, rather non-linear, lots of not quite complete sentence voice overs by various characters. But I liked it. Watching, I really was swept away by it all, filled with a sense of awe. It perfectly captured that awe, that joy, the 'quivering strangeness' (as one review put it) of their connection.

Date: 2006-02-15 11:33 pm (UTC)Tofu Records is handling their releases, so their tour dates and information are listed there: http://www.tofurecords.com/index02.php
Plus, there's a new L'arc interview noted, from their Shanghai tour! And that's always cool.
Hope your clinic search goes well, or your throat just fully recovers.

Date: 2006-02-16 10:43 pm (UTC)Yeah, I wish I could check out Polysics, as they sound cool. Oh, and it says they're pop/punk, although I think they're a lot of things, so whatever.
And l'arc is exciting... well, pretty much always. heh.
