I've ben subtitling a documentary they made last year about Love Junx because it includes the Conference I interpreted at in Vancouver last year, so I thought it'd be fun to show my parents when I go home for vacation next week....
I've been working on it for....2 or 3 hours today, and I worked on it for at least 4 or 5 hours on Saturday, I'd say....
And some error just came up and force quit the program...
And not only had I not saved recently, meaning I lost a good portion of the work...
The subtitle file won't load (apparently it got corrupted)and the only way I can load it as text file...
Which completely screwed up all the timing, so now I have to....
Go through the entire thing and do the timing all over...which takes insanely long, because I have to pause it at the beginning of the line, write down the time, then pause it again at the end of the line, and write down the time. For every single line.
And I have to re-do a huge chunk because I'm an idiot and didn't save often enough.
DAMMIT.
This is like two days of work I have to re-do.
I don't even know if it's worth it...since it's not like I'm doing this to get paid.
But...
I was so FAR....
