From an article about the Death Note movie:

Kenichi did try to sink into his role as L, to the point where he even chose the kind of sweets L is supposed to enjoy eating.

In fact, Kenichi and Tatsuya were so immersed in their roles that they even acted like Light and L on the set, which meant they spoke not to each other!

“During that time the two of us completely became Light and L. So we didn’t really speak to each on the set as we didn’t think it would be good for the roles,” reveals Kenichi.

It was only after the filming wrapped up that the two got closer and went out for a drink or two.

“Still, it was a weird feeling ...” Kenichi chuckles, “like Light and L were out drinking together!”

Well, Kenichi was a really good L, but... Tatsuya was a horrible Light. u.u;; If only Miyano Mamoru was a LA film actor, too. ~.~;; But then, I didn't really like the movies anyway, because they seemed to lose the edge and purpose of the comics (and the anime until... everything just downward spiraled like crazy plot-wise, though I will always laugh at the blood hose and there is nothing like Miyano Mamoru doing THAT LAUGH...). Have you watched the anime? There's a horribly OOC scene added where L gives Light a foot rub. xD;; Though I guess for some reason L tops Light in fandom, which... I didn't really see, unless it was amnesia!Light. ...but could L even get into a normal enough position to have sex with anyone?

Oh, speaking of Miyano Mamoru... Have you seen Vampire Knight? I'm excited, because both he and Fukuyama Jun are in it. He's also recently landed the role of Death the Kid in Soul Eater, which is awesome, because he is HILARIOUS.

I haven't really watched the anime ever, so I thought he was fine. LOL It's funny you should mention the foot rub scene, because one of the guys from work was actually talking about it yesterday ('There's this weird gay scene.' He said) Hahaha.

Hmm...I think they'd have to do some kama sutra style contortions....I'm sure there's something that could incorperate L's weird style of sitting. Hahaha.
